it is such a healing project to write it all out for amongst the pain

There's nothing like those summer memories...It's great to read how it still looks the same. In my twenty-seven years, I have already seen a lot of things change.

The simplicity of nature . . . that always takes me back to childhood memories as well!

PS, I just caught up with your previous poem, Still Life" and

reveled in the rich imagery.  You have some vivid memories but, even better, have the skill to describe them well.

You make your memories very real and precious for us - it

stokes us to call up similar stuff from our pasts.  The details make it very vivid.
