Sounds like a pleasant way to be a 13-year-old boy. It also

sounds as if you were exposed to snakebite medicine.  Sisters can make a great difference.  Mine knew me better than I knew myself.

No six gun CC, but we did carry 22 rifles for varmints. There are still places where the west lives on. There are still places where men can live free.

Not farm FSI, ranch...we chased cows, grew hay and corn for feed, and chased cows some more.

It sounds like it was a lot of hard work...I don't know of too many people who have worked on the farm.
