Re:

thanks mariss9....and i hope you do....there are too many out there trying to fleece people....and what a difference it would make to have that experience from the perspective of someone who has tried them already

It sounds like you had a good, scenic day and a nice walk.  Lebanon sounds better from your perspective than I imagined it.  Thanks for your suggestion for the ebook.  Maybe someday, if I got motivated enough to try.  I would like to warn other marks from things too expensive and advanced for them and redirect them to something they might be able to do.

Hearing about all of those cabs reminds me about New York...That's great how you got the beautiful weather.

Re:

its a city with a varied pulse....some people are always in a hurry and then there are those who enjoy the moment....you will love it especially if you go with a french and/or arabic phrase book

You paint this scene so wonderfully that you leave me wanting to go see the place for myself

Your stories reminds of the homeland. I know every street and every area you mention. I really miss Beirut. It is the City that never sleeps. Haven't read all your adventures yet but I am sure that I will get to it

So very interesting--just one thing after another.  No time at all to be bored with your writing.

i blush to say that there have been times when I have been either too

scared to eat the local food incase of a belly bug..or have been so broke that yes I have eaten Micky D's in some exatic places.

I have often travelled on almost fresh air years ago so that if i did eat it had to be bought for me or cheap.
