It sounds as though your elderly neighbours will be replaced with
more young people like yourself in the years to come. I do hope that they are as nice as the people that are there now so obviously have been.

Sorry to hear about the problems in your area. Around here the houses are so old, no one ever pulls them down, but spends thousands on repairs.

That story about Amanda sounds like a Lifetime movie, that is my daughters name and it must come with misbehaved girls. Sounds as though your neighborhood is having its share of problems.
