Isaiah,

It's really nice to read your work.. When this blog was created recently I read the bio and was looking forward to reading both you and your wife as poets..I like what I see from you so far.  Keep it up man! Ace.

Re: I need help. The opening line is a terrific start - really got me paying

Hi 2902,

I'm Isaiah. I believe my wife may have replied earlier. I don't know what might've been said, but this poem is simply a work that poured out after some time away from writing. To explain a little, I meant alot of my old beliefs died and new ones were born. My "flame" can be interperted as my spouse or my inner light. I think we all die and are reborn from our experiences in life. I hope this helps.

Re: The man,the myth

Thank you very much. Immortality? I suppose that's a way to look at it. Really, I simply began to write and this is what poured out. Immortality? I think we all die as we go through our many experiences in life--meaning things we believed to be true were not. And so the past belief dies, but a new person is born from the new found knowledge. Does that make sense? Anyway, I hope to recieve more comments from you in the future.

Re: The man,the myth

Thanks for reading and commenting on this piece. I've slowed down on writing them but found myself in a mood. I'll try to post more often.

Interesting aspect on immortality better to write it when young. Well constructed,

PS - I went back and read your previous poem. Nice job!

PS As for membership in Blogit, I can only say this - as much as I cherish

the comments on my stuff, the BIG value to me is that it keeps me writing!  The challenge of trying to put up a new poem every 24 hours literally makes me sit down and WRITE something regularly!  To me, that's invaluable.  I haven't found anything else as good.

attention!  I had a new perspective on the afterlife!  But the "old flame" threw me off that perspective - I was back in THIS life again.  I'd appreciate any light you could shed.  I want to understand.

Re:

Lol, check him out anytime!  I know Jay, it would be nice for him to have his own page, but as I explained to Annicita, it's about the money really. I only planned to stay on a month to see how it went and then enjoyed it so decided to stay on an additional month. I'm hoping that it will eventually start paying for itself and then we can upgrade or he can get another account but for now we will try to remember to always put in the subject line when it's his work vs. mine. I hope this doesn't deter readers as it's the best we can do at the moment. Thank you for coming back to read his work and we're glad you enjoyed it.

I thought I would come back and check your husband out, or dear that sounds bad dosen't it, but he's pretty good too and I think it is cool keeping it all in the family. Maybe he should have a blog too so we don't get confused?
