I enjoy reading different family interactions...I've been in a hurry a time or two as well though it often happens with friends and acquintances...That was quite an exchange for mother and daughter to have.

I don't know CC but it seems like a universal language when it comes to relatives "to make an escape". I do that all the time. I once drove over to my mom's place, always in a hurry mind you and then saw her and my aunt and my cousin out on the yard and somehow my feet just acclerated and I drove off without stopping. Guess what my aunt picked that precise moment to look up and see me making my escape!! Gosh, just my luck and my mom has never stopped reminding me of it - I had a good telling off from her though. Geez!! Anyway, I think your poem relates a bit to me and my daughters - they are always asking if they look prettier...

Now see, that's what happens when I'm in a hurry, I didn't even think about your birthday, but I don't think about mine either so its okay...Right? As for making an escape I can't say that I blame you if your family is anything like mine. Be well...What's it, 28 now?

C.C.

I love that beautiful plant. That was a neat visit with the cousin. I think little girls are so beautiful. Yes there is a time when women particularly turn away from the pretty state and remain a certain beauty. Nature takes her out of competition for a reason. Nature is geared to propagate. Love your posts always.
