Re: Charmed and charming. I often thank Bryan for getting it started.

That's the most difficult part - finding like-minded people who want to get together.  After that, it's easy.  Thank you, Bryan!

Re: Lion, reading it out loud makes it different. You discover stuff you

never suspected was there.

Re:CC, as a matter of fact I did. Those August poems I posted recently

and a bunch of shorter ones.  I couldn't imagine a more congenial group!  I think we started something.  The pub is a fine venue for the slam competitions, but what we did Satyrday night was perfect for just listening to each other's stuff.

Sounds like a great night and with poetry surrounding it - it makes for a charmed night for sure.

That sounds like a really good evening.  It's nice to hear about poetry being performed as mine is a fairly solitary affair (other than you guys there is only one who reads it)

Sounds fun Bob, more like going back in time to the harvest festivals. Did you recite anything?

At the local harvest days we always have a poetry contest. A sonnet always wins (wouldn't you know it). I could do with some of what you have back in the Empire state...Sounds like a good time for all.

Kabu, you and Wiley would feel very welcome, I'm sure.

AH - reminds me of evenings spent in the 'Galand'Or', a shed type place we frequented evrey summer Friday night during the '60's, with amateur folk singers and poets, candles on the tables, mostly homemade wine we would bring along even if it was illegal, and some MJ. It was wonderful!
