we darn well deserve those perks for all the things of youth we no longer enjoy, like being able to run a mile, staying up all night laughing with friends about silly stuff we'll never remember tomorrow, and it seems there was a bit of romance now and then....

I don't see anything wrong with getting old. Haha... ironically, I find it relaxing and entertaining, especially when you still have your beloved husband with you every night and day.
