Yeah, I know. I was losing sleep over this one! Now I can rest assured that my tax dollars going towards space exploration are being well-spent!

Well I don't believe any of it space is the greatest illusion yet When will people realize it is an enormous glass bowl and it is all happening. Well no one will believe me , put me down. I am allowed onto certain blogs.

I find this extremely interesting.

Maybe nearby lightning strikes invoke the scent of oxygen-free (???) open space. I've been thinking maybe the astronauts' own exhaust lingers near their space station as it orbits.

Yeah, I never would have thought about it as having a smell either.  I would guess it would have a smell like oceans and trees, but maybe that's just my visual sense invading :)

I never thought about space having a smell. Makes sense to me as to what it smells like to those who have been up there.

I can remember that kind of smell after a huge thunderstorm...I was a child on the farm, the storm had been close, even hitting a tree near the house. I recall the mix of meat & sulpher (strick match) smell - never forgot it. Guess I've always been a little spaced out...
