Slugs are somehow worse aren't they?

Re: shobana

You are so much kinder than I.  I have embarked in open warfare with the little things...

Re: sam444

Thanks I might have to try that.  I am reduced to using slug pellets this time but I would have prefered my garden chemical free

Re: TAPS

Thank you, the shiny trails I can live with, it's the swathe of veggie destruction that makes me see red...

Re: C_C_T

Do you think the local slugs would have ganged up and beat it up?  A kind of sluggy EDL?

LOL, what fun reading this. I saw a snail in my leafy pot a couple of days ago and just cringed Lion - Gosh, I watered the plant nonetheless and gave it a miss and am hoping it will slither away somewhere else.

Indeed, they will not be missed! I have used straw on my garden for the past two years and it seems to have cut down on the undesirable creature, too! sam

How cute for a poem.  I've seen lots of shiny slug trails in my lifetime.

Ah! We slug contenders have to have a sense of humour, Do you know Lion Arthur bought a cabbage grown overseas and it had a slug in it. He asked me what he should do with it and I said 'Toss it outside, one more will not make any difference.

Ugh...I loathe slugs and snails....ever sliced a lettuce from the garden

and ....I can't even write it. Don't see them here, love it.
