You have matured in the business sense of it all! That in itself is a boon for your father and yourself! It is wonderful to read of your confidence level! I hope your Dad recovers soon, it has to be a miserable affliction! sam

Your father must be very proud of you FSI, and he is lucky to have someone like you who can fill in for him when he is out. Of course my prayers will be with your father and your family.

I had been to the doctor years back with what I thought was an ulcer

and was prescribed medication.
I think it must not be the big deal that I had even thought it was.. seems like they can have it under control relatively easy.

I also used to worry sooooo much when I was younger.  Still worry.. but it doesn't keep me up nights like it used to.

Calmness is the best approach. Although sometimes unavoidable, stress never helps any situation. I hope your dad is doing better!

Ulcers are not the terrible danger that they once were, as you say there is

medication to cure them now and he is under the Dr. regime. Yes you have grown into such a tower of strength for your family. I am proud of our FSI.

FSI

I am sorry to hear about your Dad! Luckily, these days stomach ulcers can be treated fairly easily if diagnosed early, which seems to be the case here! And I'm sure your Dad gets comfort from knowing that you're handling things well in his absence...

I'm glad you don't worry as much now as stress can cause ulcers.  Sorry about your dad.  Hopefully he will improve quickly by following doctor's orders.
