I am late in coming back to find out what happened to your employees, FSI, and I'm happy your Dad was able to keep them on, but now you've left us with another cliff hanger about what is coming up!! So I'll go check your next post....

Reading this made me try to remember 2007 and details of my life at that time.  I'd have to look at some pictures, or read my blog posts of that day to get me started.  All I can remember at the moment was that I lived in this place and had already retired.

2007 wasn't a bad year, but there were clouds on the horizon...

We just have to pick ourselves up FS and move on it is surprising how things change once I carried over 1000 gallons of paraffin week to doorsteps, in those days it was increasing in price to 12 pence per gallon. I saw a gallon in a store this week £7.20 I will admit it did have a plastic container.

I don't think many could have perceived the economy going down the tubes and certainly the ramifications that accompanied it! I can only vouch for myself but I never anticipated my life falling apart as it did! The good thing is that we always find a way to recover no matter how bad it gets and we survive! sam
