Good for your son. My other laptop is blown and I think it was a virus but I don't have the savvy to find the sender's ISP. I am waiting for a new Windows 7 that seems part of the problem.

Wiley seems to have much trouble with his computer i think he gets

mail from a friend that is sometimes tainted. I just poke around doing some writing and in Blogit and watching the news and the second hand shops.

I hate being so ignorant but am too damned lazy to try to remedy that situation.......plus I really think I'm just not wired right to think computereese.  I try to use a degree of caution but have to admit that I tend to operate in general with the same reckless abandon with which I do everywhere.  I pretty much refuse to live my life in deference to the crooks!  Luckily, so far that old maxim about the Good Lord watching ot for fools and little children seems to hold true :)

It happened to me a couple of years ago, and I had (actually, my IT guru had, LOL) a helluva time getting rid of the infestation. My problem now is that my system will even reject some legitimate stuff sent to me by friends, as well as things I have requested...

Grrrrr...

Never click just delete even if you are curious Pat if you open the sender knows it is a legit email and can sell you on.

It's all beyond me.  Two things I have learned--
one, don't post anything on the Internet that you don't want everyone in the world to know, and two, expect a virus to take you out sooner or later.
