It is a time warp Pat , we have just passed through it, the one problem will be, a financial one for many I can actually see your son working until he is 80. A few hundred years ago I watched my father,in conversation with two men, one was a milkman and the other a cobbler, they were all discussing how nice it would be in five years time to receive a pension and not have to work any more. To me they did look old, and not one of them ever received the pension 65 and you were lucky, usually a working man retired and soon gave up the ghost. If changes such as this can happen within 50 years there will have to be some radical thinking.

As I just commented on the previous post, isn't it weird to have sons/children in their fifties.  If my youngest son were alive today, he would become a grandpa in May.  When I close my eyes and daydream, I still feel like a kid.

Pat

I think it was just yesterday that thought of people in their fifties as 'old' - what the hell has happened?
