First of all .."state agent who was inspecting lunch boxes" ........ really????  We need to pay some one to inspect lunch boxes??/ We need to be told what's a suitable lunch for a child???????????

Somebody wake me up ......... the horror ... the horror!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Hate to tell you folks, you're rights are bursting like bubbles.  Apathy of the people will let it continue.  Big Brother is right behind you, but I won't frighten you right now.  I'm too angry!!!

My kids would probably have enjoyed the junk food switch, because there was no way they'd get nuggets at home. What's with all the government power trips lately??

This is an atrocity. If I caught someone feeding one of my children a chicken nugget which is made of the waste parts of chicken I would want to pull hair, shoot guns, break arms all of those belonging to those idiots in D.C. who haven't a clue except that they are on somebody's take that comes out of the taxpayers pocket. This has made both of us in this household very angry; it is unbelievable in this country.

Insanity rules, and look at us becoming buddies with China instead of the U.S. after all these years. I went for Chinese food for lunch, just in case.

I find myself engaged in this constand internal debate these days.....when I'm not feeling like Alice.......I'm either feeling rather good about reaching an age where I don't have all that many years left to witness the insanity, and don't have to worry about the job market and all that - in other words, I feel like I can sit back and watch the insanity as it unfolds......and then I think of my 3 granddaughters and the fact that they are having to grow up in that insanity.  But then, I realize that when you grow up with it, you usually don't even notice it....which is the problem, of course.....and the mind just spins.....and spins..... The real question is: Have we passed the point of no return?

The turkey sandwich was more than the 2 meats on the American Diabetes association diet and had fruit. The carbohydrates and starch were alright for a healthy child. Actually the mother only needed a vegetable like a celery, carrot stick, or tomato and lettuce on the sandwich for those vitamins. But it wasn’t a big thing. She didn’t need any more meat. Certainly not the chicken nuggets. They’re not grilled or baked. Bon appétit Naut. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Gov. big brother whatever is out of hand...perhaps the worker has shares in

For me this is ludicrious! The Gov't is out of control! I would never pay the lunch and send the bill to the Prez! And I would tell him that he needs to concern himself with the real 'bills' at hand! lol sam

That they would substitute chicken bites for ANYthing a mother packed

is an atrocity! Those deep-fried chicken bits are the greasy equivalent of scrap meat sausage from a slovenly slaughterhouse. My fear is that your post is lifted directly from an accurate report and is not something you made up for the fun of it. Good job!!!

This is big brother up close and personal, they would only do that once to my kids lunch.

I am horrified by what you are sharing with us here.  I know that it is important for children to eat well, but this is going way too far.
