Naut, yes, the pre-op was very thorough here, too....

Everything (every person I saw) moved along okay until the anasthesiologist who was running and hour late (through no fault of his own)..thanks again for your best wishes...

Rumor

I had one of those pre-admission sessions, and boy were they ever thorough! Anyway, again all the best for Monday!

Kabu, thanks so very much for your thoughts and prayers...

The Pre-Admission this morning took longer than I thought, but that was okay.  The last person I talked with was the anasthesiologist who said the op would take 3 - 5 hours.  Now all I can do is wait for Monday morning at 8a.m.

Glad to see you're back safe and sound...

Naturally you are in my prayers and I am glad to be home in time to be

supportive to my friend through this ordeal. It will go well I know, and you will feel so much more well with this trouble removed. Caught early like this, prognosis is excellent dear one.

thanks, Jay....

lol, I'll make sure not to read food-related ads on Monday morning..while I'm under the anasthesia, I'll probably dream of Butterscotch sundaes...

sam, I'm glad they found it early, too, and that I got off my rear

and took the test...I hope to find out what I can look forward to at tomorrow's pre-admission appointment.....(you're right, I tell myself not to worry but I guess worry is part of our human nature)....

On surgery morning when you are waiting your turn do not look through the magazines, remember you haven't ate for 24 hours or so and the magazines are chuck full of tempting plates of wonderful looking food...It will make you crazy. On a serious note I hope everything goes well...Take a bullet in case the anesthesia wears off.

Try not to worry too much even though I know it's very hard not to! I am thankful they found it in the early stages and that will save you a lot of grief! sam

Pat_B, I know you're right....

I expect to learn a lot at tomorrow's pre-admission clinic, but I am going to have a list of questions ready, just in case....

CCT, that's true...I've talked to two or three people who went through

the same thing and they are absolutely fine now...

FSI..lol..I don't mind knowing what's going to be going on really...

Pat_B is right - the more I know, the better off I'll be, which is very true....this pre admission clinic tomorrow should answer a lot of questions....

Hi,

You are in my prayers.

Actually, in this case, you might be better able to help yourself

recover if you are very well-informed about the surgery itself, any common side effects or symptoms you might expect. And it might be important to ask bout potential drug interactions from your regular meds and the anesthetic, etc. Here's wishing you a good experience and a complete recovery. It happens! :)

AS long as you get better Rumour that's the big issue, no reason why you should not be as fit a fiddle in a couple of months time. Waiting for baby.
