TAPS. ..you're very welcome..

I think you'll enjoy it...I know Liz enjoys Parker's books as much as I do because they're light, fast moving, and the good guys still win....

FSI, this is exactly what I've been hoping for....

I think a lot of other Parker readers will be pleasantly surprised, too....

oops, you"re right Jay..I stand corrected....

Most of Parker's stories (the detective series at least) take place in Massachusetts...my bad...thanks for the correction....

Good to hear from another Robert Parker fan....

We just love the TV movies and I hope they continue to make them, but isn't Paradise in Massachusetts?

sam, I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you do....

You might want to try a Jesse Stone novel that Parker wrote first, then read this one by Michael Brandman, just to compare styles.

It always brings a smile to my face when I realize Parker dedicated every book he wrote to one person, his beloved wife, Joan.  He wrote ten pages a day and no more.  Anyone looking for a lesson in how to write clear crisp dialogue, any of his books would make good texts as to how its done.

(no, this isn't a paid advertisement..lol...I just liked (like) the man who obviously was much more than a good writer)...

What a great tribute to the man by carrying on his work in his style! I haven't read any of the books but they sound interesting so I might check it out! sam
