Nita, I would contact the website first and include what was
plagiarized...let them deal with the deceitful author...if they won't then contact the author yourself....

Sorry that you feel upset Nita, I have no idea what to do, I would probably wait to see if it is just a one off, but of course everyone feels differently which is obvious by the other comments.

Plagiarism is theft of the worst kind! I would immediately get in touch with the site first, and subsequently with the plagiarist!
We had a case of plagiarism here on Blogit a couple of years ago, and at my insistence the plagiarist got kicked out. I know that he came back, sailing under a different flag, and maybe I should check him out again...

Oh my goodness, that's horrible! Is there a way you can report them to Yahoo first! It could save the esxpense of a lawyer! If that isn't possible then I would go after them through an attorney because stealing another's work is just wrong! I doubt it would do any good to contact the thief, I think they need to be taught a harsh lesson to the fullest extent of the law, too! So sorry this happen to you Nita; but go get them! Shelly
