FSI, yes, it's one of the best assignments a student could have. My

granddaughter attends an excellent school with teaching methods similar to the Montessori System.

Justi, in recent years, though, many kids don't learn. Have you heard how

so many folks answer random questions by reporters on the street? Some don't know who was first U.S. Prez, or even who's running for office today.

Wiley, granddaughter just kept wanting to know more and more. History does

not have to be boring.

Straightforward, yes - great assignment - a good way for kids to learn history. My granddaughter's interest was a delight to see.

It is so strange that the kids want to know. I don't think it was so long ago myself.

Did it turn out alright loveFor myself I ran into the founding pastor of my church's son Joel and our Sunday school classmate Abby on the  public high school  class Circle Line cruise on Manhattan's Hudson River. A guy that went to the high school, another member of the graduating class hung with them. He was a big guy. He lifted me up. He carried me to th3e edge of the ship. 1, 2, 3 ... Joel saved me. I think that he talked him out of it. Ironically Wynn worked in the tropical fish department of the department store in town. My friend that has Parkinson's Disease seriously and I found him there. oh you mean you want me to be serious.....hmnn, actually I answered those

questions some almost 20 years ago for a friends daughter...I was in my 40's still tasting life....and their conclusion that I had lived a hard life!

I felt quite insulted. I was living and experiencing so much and they were wealthy spoilt city brats...Mother and daughter.
