After having celebrated several Thanksgivings that could pass
for riots, there's much to treasure in the quiet companionship of four-leggeds. I like the cat's direct and obvious intention, the way she keeps her own counsel. Miss Kitty, though long gone, still sits on the window sill of my mind, observing without comment. Better than certain relatives who have and offer opinions whether or not they're wanted.

Kabu is right - we all need that now and then. If you're really interested, I would still check out the contact for the community thing, even if the site is dated 2009. Maybe whoever took over just forgot to update it, or doesn't know how.

Sometimes a quiet festival a time for reflection and to do exactly
as you feel like doing can be nice....Wiley and I decided very quickly in our relationship to just be together for all the Holidays and we do it our way and love it. Cats make great company....after you all eat your fill, you can all snuggle down and sleep.
