Of course Obama visited all 57 states, thinks our 50th state is Asia and has no idea what a corpsmen is, not to mention on memorial day he saw them all there with him and all that is overlooked and ok.

WileyJohn, experience and research indicate that the quiet workers, whose work not their mouth speak for them, are often not seen or heard in a manner that will get the attention or respect due and they get LEFT BEHIND!! It is usually the peacock type, who brag and boast, tell jokes, and so forth who get the recognition.

JPTthedoc

I wonder why this man Huntsman isn't higher in the polls. He is very intelligent, has lots of knowledge from having been an Ambassador and Governor, yet something is making him almost invisible. Oh well, I'm a Canuck anyway but I love following all the political drama.

Time will tell, and the nomination should be rather interesting! I know that I am not a fan of Perry, the rest I will wait and watch! sam

It certainly will be interesting to see who wins the nomination. With the degree from a prestigious school I think Romney will stand a better chance.

True JimmyA.  No one is perfect.  I did not not take debate in school.  However, I was told in leadership class that one must be prepared.... I held a deep concern about public speaking, that I would find myself in a position that I would not remember who I was, let alone have the ability to answer a question.  I learned that one must know above and beyond the subject, keep current, and understand that questions out the box will be asked and to again, be prepared.

On the other hand as an educator, studies show that some need/require more think time than others to answer questions. Given these differences, depending upon the position one seeks or serves, there needs to be a match with requirements.  Politics hold no exactness.  Again, this is my opinion!!!

A mind like Palin?

Isn't that sort of contradiction in terms? Personally, I don't think there's any politician out there right now who can think and/or respond under pressure. Most people can't. Years ago, during an episode of Family Feud, someone had five seconds to think of a word that begins with the letter "Q." Their response? "Cute!" I think they now hold some political office somewhere.

Truly stated, JPT! I find it incredible that the Republican Party

is so..um, lost?..Your closing words say it all, imo.
