I've never been without a land line (except for a time in stormy weather when it went out). It seems like a necessary part of life to me.

Happens to me all the time, FSI. My problem is that my cell phone only comes in now and then out here in the bush, so sometimes calling it with the land phone does no good at all!

being together all the time and retired...we never use the cell phone
we need our landline.

They are still relevant..:)
I considered doing away with mine, but like you, I frequently misplace my cell and that is the quickest way to find it. Unless the battery is dead, lol.
