My grandmother drank it instead of coffee. It wasn't my bag back then.
I would give it another try if I had opportunity.

I used to drink postum too, and now that I have given up coffee I as well would like to have some postum for comfort as tea just doesn't do it for me and Pero just isn't the same.

YJwJY General Mills bought Chex from Ralston Purina. The former Ralston half of the company name bought Post cereals from Kraft that merged with General Foods (formerly Post Foods!). The conglomerate that merged Kraft, General Foods that made Postum, Nabisco, and Oscar Meyer with Marlboro cigarettes are selling the rights again. Like Chicory perhaps Mother used to have that in Australia when I was a
girl,seems they couldn't get coffee during WW11.
