I agree Raye something's are so awful that one has to stop and think. Someone once said it is a good day to buy shares. but who could think of profiting from such a disaster.

From talking to Muslims I know, they don't feel extremists/terrorists are of Islamic faith, because they believe the religion does not support or ignite or in any way preach violence towards others. Some are actually afraid of the extremists who call themselves Muslim - little hesitation on their part to act against those who disagree with or protest their actions. And there are plenty who have and do protest - I think they are not often given a wider audience for several reasons. As I said in the post, Muslims died in the attacks on 9-11. I'm just repeating what I've been told. A sad, frustrating and frightening dilemma.

It has been a long time, but my son's birthday is on that day and it has forever changed the way we think and act in this country! I am not about the religious portion of it but I am against anyone or terrorist or group that hides behind a self righteous veil and seeks to terrorize while using a religion! The one's who are felt to be slighted because of their religion and a blanket approach to crying foul should in fact stand up to those who hide behind that veil in the first place! I am a Christian and I would never keep silent if a my religion set out to harm others simply because they did not agree with them and thus kill innocent people! It's tough on both sides of the issue but I do take issue with a particular religion wanting to build their house of worship in an area that is truly sensitive; it shows a lack of respect for those who died no matter their religious affiliation or no religious affiliations! I believe it will never be resolved due to the number that died and it will be a fight to end even if only dialogue where the towers are concerned! We would be better served to embrace our differences and just try to get along as citizens of the earth! sam
