Re:
Hi Sam checked it out it was the right size I usually wear my things to the bone much to the disgust of my brother who is always immaculate, but he never knew really hard times being 15 years younger and having highly paid work.

Re:
Good thinking JAy the old gardeners used to soak the sack in a tub and use the liquid manure. Last year I bought a few sacks of really rotted black horse manure it was hard work digging it in in the winter but the result is pretty convincing. I am going to try some dried  poultry pellets this year,

Re: well at shearing the sheep dags used to go into a bale and we sold them
Yes Kabu our blankets went worldwide especially dyed for Indians a girl who used to work at Mill would bring me slight seconds some were so thick they were like lint. Of course Merino Wool was special.

well at shearing the sheep dags used to go into a bale and we sold them

i guess the dag was washed off and the wool was used by the byers. I remember when Merino Wool was worth a pound for a lb.

I think that if people want free apples, they should offer to pick them for you....or if they are older, get their kids to do it.

Our "Chipper", half collie and half golden retriever had bad daglocks, but nobody wanted them for anything at all.

I wondered what dags were when I read the headline! I hear you on the gas and power bills! I have done well enough this summer! I cool my house down at night and then close it up during the day and today it is 98F and inside is 79F and should stay that way til sundown! I have cut my electric substantially this way! I only do laundry once a week since it's just me. I hang the heavy items in the laundry to dry cuz I am with you on not drying to send my money out the vent so to speak! So sorry on the wrong size but perhaps you could exchange if the postage isn't too much on the return! sam
