All of my grandkids started back to school this week except for Peter in the Marines, Phil in Adult Day Care and the youngest who is just a little over a year old. Five of them are in college, two in high school and Megan just began preschool. What fun!

I am with sam, and hoping for a Tiger Division win...
and then eventually on to the World Series...(Windsor is right across the River from Detroit and I have been a Detroit fan in all sports since I was a kid).
..
I always had mixed feelings abour returning to school, too...didn't want to go, but at the same time did, wondering who would be in my class, who the teachers would be..

I commend you for working with Brian, you are making a difference in his life and that is so wonderful! I thought the Orioles would have a better season than they are having! They have a lot of young talent and I don't think it will be all that long before it starts paying dividends! They did manage to take one from Detroit last week! I am ready for hockey and football but right now the Tigers have a decent lead in their division, the key is to sustain it! If they do it will be their first division championship in 24 years! I have my hopes high with Verlander now at 19 wins, the guy is a beast this year! I truly believe he is the best pitcher in baseball right now! He may not have the lowest ERA in the American league, but he is first in every other category that is pertinent to the Cy Young award! I am rooting for him to get it, too! sam
