I grew up in an old two story house that belonged to my grandpa. It brings back memories of childhood play time. Good post.

I think it's wonderful that you are part of such a grand history, too! People upgrade and downgrade for a variety of reasons! I know that since my kids are grown I look for something smaller and more manageable, especially with square footage! It costs to heat and cool a home so as far as my budget is concerned smaller works out much better! sam

What a fascinating family history of homes.  I assume you have no plans of moving to something bigger, at least not right away.

ZY I can’t believe that 1955 (I don’t remember it) goes back to your grandparents. My parents had me late in life. So they bought their house in 1942. I guess my grandparents forget it! Bill’s RJJst
