My dad always grew those magnificent beefsteak tomatoes in his garden. I agree, they were absolutely wonderful. I haven't had a tomato like that for a long, long time.

Home grown, vine-ripened. It does make a difference. They don't
develop that full flavor in a shipping carton.

Makes me think of Barbie Dolls somehow. Man I miss a delicious
tomatoe too.
