Hi Ciel, this is a nice piece, very thoughtful...I particularly liked the last line about this being what redemption looks like..  I haven't heard of the new show, here in the UK, but I'll keep a look out for it.

I agree. I love the "new" Roseanne, who has not deviated from her
own "true north." I loved her old show, the typical Midwestern bungalow on a forgettable corner in "Lanford," IL, Dan and Roseanne and the kids. And I love the new one. It would be so cool to sit down for coffee with her and just listen...

what a wonderful post and yes, instant forgiving myself for a couple of
cringe moments that have haunted me, by the time I reached the end. We are all human and other people are so cruelly critical of that very human side we carry.

What a great post.  I think we have all goofed at one time or another and would love to be able to have a second chance to redeem ourselves.  One just has to keep going and keep trying.
