What an interesting post.  I think I like your dad.
I've always been kind of a road follower myself and love seeing where roads go.

It was like having a whole new life when he got his license back.

FSI, it really makes a difference when you suddenly become
the driver (get your licence) rather than the passenger, too...as a passenger I'd get lost going from point A to poit B, even if it was a straight line...there are still areas of the city I'm not all that familiar with, but Liz, as a one-time school bus driver, knows every crescent and avenue...

I always took the samr route to and from work ...the car could drive
itself while I dozed.

I like the way your Dad thinks! My son knows so much of Boise and when I am with him I learn a short cut, too! It is fantastic to recognize the learning you Dad has given to you! I like the confidence of just taking off and seeing where a place will lead! One never knows what they might happen upon! I am with you in that I can travel the same road and observe what is changing! The mountains surrounding the valley never look the same from day to day so it makes traveling very enjoyable, even in the city! I also how one may seem overwhelmed when they are younger but by mid-twenties the picture is clearer! sam

Help FS I get lost if I don't follow the same familiar well lanes mostly little lanes where one has to try to peer round to see if anything is coming. I would pay big money for your skill if I could afford big money.
