I love being reminded of Langston Hughes.
If not reminded now and then, I forget to go there.

I don't believe I've ever read him, though, I am familiar with him. Your entry has intrigued me, so, will need to check the library & see what's available. I can identify with the paragraph about cutting deeply into my white psyche. Wanting to right the wrongs for things I never had any involvement with.

I don't believe I have ever read him - another author to add to my ever-growing list of 'Got-to-Reads'. Love the quote - my sentiments exactly! In fact, I have a small colorful unicorn tattooed on my right breast - love what they stand for. (the unicorns, not the breast)
