 I saw this too --- on TCM channel...just the other night.  I agree you with you Gypsy - I found it a rather odd casting; and it was a complex who-dunnit.  Happy (re)viewing  Elyse

You weren't supposed to like him. Arrogant SOB...
He was distinctly unlikable. In fact, I thought he seemed to look down his imperial nose in all his movies. Perfect guy to play the cold-hearted businessman, maybe in a Bernie Madoff biopic.  I hope you like the movie better this time.

it is a great post and it was a very well aclaimed movie ..but like you
i don't think that I really enjoyed it so much.
