I miss the days when people actually had to look for a phone booth to make a call. At least they were stationary, and you knew you wouldn't be forced to overhear their conversation.

Claiming the corner table in a restaurant as your personal office,
then blithely conferring with clients who have no idea their confidentiality is shot to hell... Yeah... pisses me off!
Used to be, we sought privacy for phone calls, for our own protection, as much as consideration for the innocent bystander.
It is an increasingly selfish society we live in, rotten with the narcissistic entitlement attitudes and presumptions.

It's tourist time here with city visitors getting away from it all. Yet, there they are hiking while clutching a cell phone to the ear.
