There are friends I don't mind spending time with, but, most of the family is another story. It appears I'm not the only one who has some reticence about guests.

With rare exception, I avoid having guests.
Drop-ins, though, don't make me nervous about my ability as a host, and although they may be an inconvenience, I'm generally happy to spend a little time with them. (very little)

these are great......I have guests arriving soon....I don't enjoy guests
