Re:
Thank you so much, Dear Sam! I am learning to compensate for not being to do things as I once did them. I just hope I won't continue to need to do so, that I will stabilize and hold the line, so to speak. Still getting around without any kind of assistance, driving, working from home, chores in a kind of limited manner - can't do all the floors in one day anymore or lug heavy baskets of laundry up the stairs or down to the basement or do demanding stuff outside - and I do have decent exercise ability. Anway, Thank You so much!

What beautiful poetry.  The imagery was great.
Glad you are feeling a little better.

Loved the poem but, even more, I love the attitude behind it;  this poem put a big smile on my face.

A substitution is a good thing when we can't do the other and how lovely for the petunia to grace you with its presence! I adore that! sam

Re: Raye09
I've heard of that, Bill but never read it. Petunias are in the annuals category but I've read online tonight that they do sometimes come back. This a first for me in many years of planting them nearly every spring. Thanks for stopping by!

Re: what a gift that petunia is .....sorry you have not been strong....
Feels like a gift especially because it is the color I couldn't find locally. I had fun messing around with my planters; been awhile since I've painted anything..:) Thank you, Dear Kabu.

Re:
Hi CC; I do indeed have six planters full of petunias! I used potting soil enriched with plant food; is that enough to keep 'em blooming? I water daily too or at least check, because it seems they dry out alot faster than when in the ground. The RedHead..:) is in an empty bed and I thought about moving her in with some kin to keep her company, haha. I need to take some pictures.
Thank you, I'll be by soon..

RAye you should get some nice compost and fill your pots or get someone to do it you could have loads of flowers. I don't know if you have or if it is a poetical aspiration. I would carefully dig that little petunia up pop it in a pot and save the seed it is a little survivor. Glad that you feel better I am posting some pinks in pots on journal.
