It sounds good.  I still love salt even if I have to cut down and love it less.  Vit B is helping me in many ways.  That sounds like a great health food.

Was wondering if it has anjino motu? in my chldhood, there was something
called Bovril. but I don't see it now. I loved it.

I think I might like it. I suspect it tastes a bit like olives,
what with all the salt, etc. But I'm supposed to avoid salt.

Hm I think I go with Wiley on this one I have in desperation tried Marmite instead of Bovril incidently that was changed once but reverted to the original. Perhaps the salts in your remedy  help with a runny tummy, I will certainly try it if I can source it. Of course I am sure we all with you, these disasters are never ending we grumble if the power goes off for an hour, it is human nature I suppose. Thank you so much for your kind viewing

I am aghast at the amount of flooding faced by people in many places.  It seems there is no end to tragedies.

Thanks for sharing the story of vegemite with me Grandmummy.  And I'm praying for the victims too.  I have a surprise for you!...

It was about 1985 when that "vegemite sandwich" song came out...
back in the days when I was blowing my ear drums out on pop radio... it sounds like what I imagined it to be... something like braunscwager sp? paste you put on Wasa crackers, etc... I don't think I'd hold up too well in a flood or any other disaster God forbid... and all those poor pets cooped up in their crates!... so many things all we can do is pray to God for his mercy I guess, ? Wiley left a wonderfully encouraging comment on my post... you two are so lucky to have one another! I started rereading Catcher In The Rye today and it's giving me hope that perhaps I too can write such a great novel. Or maybe Salinger just makes it look easy, I don't know?...  I guess we gotta shoot for the stars and never, ever give up!

Thanks for the explanation,Kabu, and I'll have to mosey down there and try it. I too pray that loved ones are safe, and although the rest is just material things, it still must break hearts watching it all float away. (LOLO at Naut's comment!)

I will have to try it some time if I ever find it. Oh yes it is hard for me to recoken with all the thousands for miles and miles who will have everything swept away because they are opening the spillways to avoid flooding New Orleans and Baton Rouge. This is horrible.

Kabu
Vegemite has always reminded me of an explosive, like semtex! I have encountered it in Britain, but never felt entirely safe in its presence...

Kabuiepie:-)
A nice post on the Vegemite and I didn't know one of the kids tried it and spat it out. LOL I wasn't that bad about it. Yes indeed, God Bless all the folks in the floods here and south of the border love.

I had heard the word said in a Men at Work song. Now I know exactly what it is...My heart goes out to the people effected by the flooding as well.
