There is terrible weather everywhere and i do think that i shall blame this
doomed pair for at least some of it.....what stories they will have to remember....but some of the devastation and death....not needed lads.

Reading of all the devastation 'Down South', I thank the gods that I live in this rather placid corner of the Great White North! While it tends to be a bit chilly sometimes, we rarely get tornadoes, no earthquakes and no floods. And at the moment we haven't got any snow either...
Oh, and in this house any left-over thick, rich, delicious chili ends up in the freezer...

You know, if they were Blogit members, I'll bet they could write some interesting posts. I also bet they would have loved some hot chili of yours during they eight hours they were stuck in the snow.

A trip they'll remember for a long time! As long as they stay safe is what counts - plans can, and do, get changed when Mother Nature doesn't co-operate. You should have sent that chili up this way - it's one of my favorite meals!
