I was in a restaurant having lunch with some former classmates
when I saw "my" first robin of Spring... something which never fails to delight me. Nice pic...

My! I don't blame Mr. Graysome for wanting to go back inside!
What an ordeal to worry about that hawk

The flaming bush sounds so right, and the dogwood.  Enjoy your enchanted garden and have a good spring and summer.

Well it is too early here Kabu but a blackbird has young, the fruit trees are full of blossom the shops are creaking with bedding plants it is a kind of madness. Now excuse me for changing the subject but there is a young lady in poetry phisicwarrier or something, She insists that fairies came over on the er er boats from England to Australia 200 years. I assured her that no respectable fairy would have survived that journey and I knew an extremely well researched Aussie historian who only ever came across gnomes in her extensive travels. I did suggest there may be sprites dirty little beasties or worse still goblins, perhaps you could take a sneak view and suss it out.

That's the beauty. if your green is green enough to get the birds, they'll
take care of the rest.

Robins are back, I saw the first one several weeks ago.
Yesterday the crew came and mowed my yard. The roar of lawnmowers, sure sign of spring.
