Y'know, if you can't get popcorn, maybe you could find
dried corn on the cob... Squirrels like that. Run a long nail through the center of a block of wood, flip it over so the point sticks up, pop the ear of corn onto the spike, and you've got a squirrel dining table. They don't need candles and silver, just the ear of corn. My old neighbor Walter (99) used to set them up on fence posts.

Kabu why not try shelled walnuts or sun flower seeds. Pecans are too expensive I think. I wonder if it would eat coconut. Popcorn come on Kabu. You will be giving me eggs and bacon next.

Oh boy oh boy - I wish I could have been there when they did that, Kabu. They would have got more than rude back!!! I make very loud noises when the service is poor (I have some of Wiley's Irish!!). That is a terrible story about the rape - unacceptable!

we have a lot of stores that have them in the fruit section, but maybe buying it that way its more expensivie. Dont you have pet stores that sell nuts?

How very rude of those people!
I can't believe they actually said stuff like that to you. You are a very kind woman. I would have been all over the internet looking for places to report the type of service these people gave you, hoping to prevent others from shopping there.
If those guys that were working there were not the owners of the store, I would DEFINITELY try to contact the owner and let them know what happened. You should be able to feel comfortable shopping where ever you want. It makes me so angry when people treat others like this.

I will never understand retail stores that are rude to their customers, but then thereare lots of things I don't understand...
And maybe the peanut delivery truck got stuck in your snow up there; we've got plenty down here, to feed the jays and the damn squirrels...

Hi sweet lady, I am kinda of in today. This is loving and important. I am always surprised when people have their own retail business and are rude in any sense. Do they not know it is the customer who keeps them in business. I find that terribly sad that anyone would tell you they didn't want your patronage. I would love having you come in even if you didn't buy for the lovely sunny smile and sweetness you would bring to the place. I am sorry that happened to you. Be blessed dear lady.
