steamfly, you've written a little epic poem right here....
I can feel and hear and sense the storm, but I can also feel the arms of the One Who holds us safe in life's storms.....

One needs to experience Him to believe in Him and His powers...
to realize that those powers lie within each of us, and that we are stronger than we think..kudos to you for hanging on, and for expressing your experience so beautifully..write on my friend! - Ash

Some call it something, some call it their higher power. These are those who fear to say the word God...A deeply felt poem.

Well, I've never been an "about me" kind of person. I don't talk about myself much and I never liked pictures of myself either. It may sound silly, but that's me. Thank you for the comment, I'm glad you were touched by my poem.

When a blog post touches me, I have a tendency to go to that writer's "about me" page to read what they have written about themselves or maybe see a picture of them that they have posted.  I was disappointed to see that you have not written anything on that page.
