Ahhh but you did darlin', just close your eyes and you can see the moments preserved in their bottles for you to experience all over again.  Lovely poem, only you can make sadness so wonderful to read xoxoxo

When you are there you think it will last forever.
When you are no longer there, then you wish you had.
Such is life.

I want to cry reading this........I am doing just that, bottling every
precious moment that Wiley and I have.

It's amazing how fast it all flies by.

That you can remember them means you've saved them. Just need to back it
up now, i guess

Very nice, but I like the previous poem better, especially the first parts!

For some reason this reminds me of Thomas More: "Fond memory brings the light of other days around me."

Don't we all wish we can save love in bottles We always can have it when we need it.

Love it..."bottled" says it all, but wodered about "way back then" and 2nd line--"then" because time past was already being implied. What do you think? Also, especially like last line...what chance agaist fate? echoing the heroism of the human condition against our eternal nemesis.

A heart felt poem, but I feel that there is to much love in you for regrets...even in death we save the good things.
