What a compassionate, talented young lady Kabu and I'm sure you are so proud of her. I hope someday it takes children like these to put some sense into leaders of today.

Oh, of course you should print this. It is so serious, good, mature, sad and from a young heart of love. It shows the beautiful touch of Gangan Kabu on that child. Thank you so for sharing that with us. She just may become Australia's youngest Poet Laureate. Lovely!!!!

It's sad to think of all the people who can relate to this poem.

When it is right and when it is wrong, war is hell; valuable people are lost and people must grieve.

I'm thinking she has her grandmother's genes, and that she will, in the long run, surpass her grandmother's dreams.  Thank you for sharing.  Loved it.
