You know ChiffChaff sometimes I find it is just nice to sit and scroll through your past postings of lovely flowers and enjoy looking at all these pretty things. :)

Re:
Well Taps this year I will have about 150 pots of Auriculas, 50 pinks and 15 perpetual flowering carnations 10 miniature roses and these wintering flowering primrose. I have put 50 of the last years pinks in the vegetable garden because the darned cats from near by scratch etc and I prefer to grow the veggies in pots these days except for stringless beans which I don't think do a lot of good in USA as it is too hot for them. I usually net the other vegetables or the pigeons pick at them. We have to buy water through a meter so I try to save rain water for the pot plants as they don't appear to like the harsh tap water well the Auricilas I wish I had not started growing those as I now have ze passion for the pinks but having spent at 4 pounds a throw I do not like to discard them and they do come out nice on photos. Thank you for your enquiry.

Re:
Dear me Sam you are far too impatient how would you like to put a baby in a cold bed, wait until you can put your elbow on the soil and feel the warmth the seeds will love you for it.

I love the doll in the background! And the flower is gorgeous! I am so ready to get planting but it is more than a month before I can toss those seeds in the soil! I had thought about a small garden, but I am not sure I will! I can be too fickle at times! lol sam
