Prejudice seems inherent in the human being. I know when I experienced it myself about Muslims it was driven by fear. Fear of terrorism but also fear of a religion that views the rest of the world as infidels. I did some reading up on the subject.
Be that as it may, it is myself I have to conquer or change when I have feelings like that, strangely enough for sure, is that praying about it is the only answer. Strangely enough that is what a Muslim may do as well, pray.
Well of course we cannot avoid a prejudice of any kind, but individually we must deal with it and try to solve it. I learned a lot about our First Nations People because my oldest sister was a teacher on reserves in B.C. and Quebec, so I learned about another culture from Eileen.

darling i want to reach out and give you a hug......i suppose we need to
teach each other acceptance on who we are inside but the old prejudices pop up in every generation it would seem....and it only takes one bad apple to taint the whole barrel with a bad name.

It's ashame when people are made to feel as though they do not belong. My heart goes out to the doctor and his family.
