I am a recovering addict who has quit smoking and drinking coffee, none were cold turkey but I have seven years behind me now all drug and smoke free. Surprisingly, for me it was smoking and coffee that were the hardest.

My Dad was one of those cold-turkey people when I was little, and the change was so profound and sudden it was unbelievable.
