Too funny! When I go by car washes I think of FSI, too! What a beautiful sight! Although I am done with snow for my lifetime, lol! And my Wings took two from Boston, now it's up to the Habs to take first place back! Game in an hour! Go Habs! sam

the funny thing is that we got more snow than that here in Arkansas
But it is all but gone now  and 60 degree sunny days are NICE!

Lovely picture
and warm, homely scene from which to view it.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again - in your setting I think I could actually get to like winter...

FSI has influenced our way of dealing with crud, for sure, TAPS
Whenever I see my truck dirty now, I think of FSI too, LOL!

Re: Washing your car at the car wash? pffttt.... That's what rain is for.
LMAO, Pat_B. No rain here right now...just snow, and somehow that doesn't work quite as well.

SLush is one thing about winter I don't like, Kabu
It's slippery, and takes no time to dirty the cars. You can always come up here if you want 10 inches of snow...winter waved its artistic brush, and the result on the trees and mountain is awesome!

But I ended up working...T-4 time ya know! Fire is on now, and Jacuzzi time has arrived!!

I enjoy winter, FSI - even a good snowball war!

LOL - sorry Justi!
Those articles will not help here at the moment. Umbrellas just don't do it for the snow...unless..maybe turned upside down it could become a sorta sled..a bit delicate though...think I'd be needing THICK snow pants!

You are such a joy. We have had more snow this winter than for so many years. We get panic and get a light case at least of dementia when we get two inches of that white on our landscape for more than three days. I look at this photo on your blog and think how beautiful, but not here...burrrr.Will any of these help?

I'm afraid that FSI has empacted my car washing habits also.  LOL.
Whenever I see crud covering, I see him saying "go wash".
