Bless them... all the local critters and birds must think of you as the perfect neighbour

I miss seeing the birds. There are so many around here in summer
there's a lot of life and interest outdoors. One of the newspaper pics lately was a flock of about 50 Canada geese walking on ice to an open spot on one of the little lakes around here.

Well those guys are not going to go far Kabu lovely. photos. Not much good putting food out here the birds are spoiled for choice everyone has food offerings displayed. The squirrels have caches of walnuts because no one picks them up although the little menaces chew heads off flowers in the cemetery,

And the blue jays are magnificent. Such a good caretaker you are, Dear Kabu..

We used to have blue jays come around for the cat food
They would get so angry when the cats were hanging around the porch and they couldn't sneak in and grab some

I hope Sammy stays away from the fischer....
I agree with lovelylady that chipmonks are smarter more clever than squirrels.....

No worries Grandmummy...chipmunks are indeed very clever little critters.  You don't often see them in wintertime, but now and again they will venture out if they are low on food.  Your little Charlie will be just fine.  I am so sorry about Sammy.  I re-posted a couple of things for you.  I love you...
