What annoys me with those sagas is the name spelling. It isn't the first type I've had correspondence later addressed to Tom M. Smallsee Vicar.

Oh I do so identify with you PatB and unlike Nautikos, I seldom can keep my cool but I do work on that. Actually now I just try not to call any company if I can avoid it. I try and use the internet and blast them with quiet writing. LOL

Maybe that's the trick--playing spider solitaire while one waits. I only seem to stew while waiting for anything. I don't like that waiting game.
