Kabu I just thought a photo of your toes sticking out from the bottom of the bed, Ill do mine with my socks on, pretty fair deal I would think. I remember the time I used to put newspaper inside my trouser legs to keep the wet from chilling me, well that was when one could afford to wear long trousers, before that it was pink knees. Chilblains on the ears are miserable and not to mention at night the unmentionable freezing ie. the cup of water. Keep warm even if you have to wear a hat at all times.

I don't blame you, most new versions of Windows are about looking pretty and preventing you from doing anything naughty.. if what you have works, then why upgrade?

I got cold just looking, it is beautiful but so cold. You are a trooper plus! I agree with you that these new fangled computers are a lot more truble. Thirty years ago I could get them to do what I wanted today I must do what it says and I can't understand what it is saying. LOL Stay warm and enjoy it will soon be spring. I saw your weather is about to get a tad better and outs worse. It is strange here this year, but like you said I am only able to wait it out.

I have a little thing I wrote some time back about
revenge on a computer "repairman" who didn't. I'll see if I can find it back on one of my old files... Your war dance in the background probably did as much good as outlining his ancestry in vulgar terms.

dealing with computer techies over the phone is a true nightmare...
When our computer tech is right here, with me, to do whatever needs done, or walk me through it, that's fine.
..by phone is just like trying to do a jigsaw puzzle with some pieces missing...
..
