E.E some sort of hard material they are hollow and have number on the base I had them from from a cousin I expect they were her mothers.

ChCh --- are these ceramic?  wax?  I cannot tell for the sheen or matte, either one.  Adorable kitties with 'green' eyes and poor Chumpet ~ always something for the wee guy.E.E.
